Celebrating 30 Years of Thermoforming Innovation and Employee Dedication

Tek Pak has built a reputation over the last 30 years as the preferred employer of the Fox Valley region. With well over 100 employees, some of whom commute almost an hour to work every day, Tek Pak can’t say enough about its dedicated and amazing employees.

Recently, twenty-one employees were honored with longevity service awards during the 30th-anniversary event held in early June at The Graceful Ordinary in St. Charles, Illinois. The employees that were honored during the evening’s event included valued Tek Pak employees with 25 years and more of service and dedication to Tek Pak.

The 2022 30th anniversary year is dedicated to celebrating all Tek Pak employees and how far Tek Pak has come in 30 years. With its eye on the future, Tek Pak is so very thankful to everyone that has played a part in its success and innovation, starting with the dedication of the incredible Tek Pak staff.

As a global manufacturing company, Tek Pak provides light gauge thermoform, molded fiber, and packaging solutions for electronic, food, healthcare, and industrial customers. From start to finish, Tek Pak provides design concepts through prototype development and final product production. 

Started in a small midwestern garage 30 years ago, Tek Pak has grown to an international thermoforming industry leader, expanding its footprint in Northern Illinois by adding a fifth building in St. Charles, Illinois. Tek Pak recently introduced an employee training program with a concentration and focus on the specialized packaging manufactured by Tek Pak. In the spring of 2022, Tek Pak launched their internal Apprenticeship Pilot Program focusing on outreach while looking inward, dedicated to educating and cultivating the next great wave of thermoforming engineers. Currently, Tek Pak has nine employees in the Apprenticeship Pilot Program.

The future holds even more excitement for Tek Pak as the world demands and becomes more focused on long-term sustainability and environmentally responsible manufacturing. To meet that demand and continue its citizen-forward industry service mission, Tek Pak is not only offering packaging opportunities using recycled and biodegradable plastics but is also supporting the transition in the U.S. to more sustainable packaging by building tooling for fiber packaging. Tek Pak remains in lockstep with the world and industry trends when it comes to green manufacturing, an industry leader in environmentally responsible manufacturing.
